AU after changing channel from  Dev -> Beta

Steps To Reproduce:
0.
1. Change channel from dev(M57) --> beta(M56) at chrome://chrome tab.
2. Click on Change channel and Powerwash.

Expected Result:
Device should start Beta update immediately.

Actual Result:
Not started beta update immediately.
Update starts once click on "Check for and apply updates" button at chrome://chrome .

How frequently does this problem reproduce? (Always, sometimes, hard to
reproduce?)
Always.

What is the impact to the user, and is there a workaround? If so, what is
it?
