Input does not work in full-screen

Chrome Version: 56.0.2924.82
OS: ChromeOS

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Open Google title page 
(2) Go to full-screen (F4 button?)
(3) Set focus to search box.
(4) Type something - no visual feedback.

What is the expected result?
Input is reflected somewhere.

What happens instead?
Nothing is displayed.

Actually not only ChromeOS, Desctop version is affected too.
