Issue descriptionChrome Version : 56.0.2924.76 (Official Build) (64-bit) URLs (if applicable) : http://www.sciencemadness.org/library/books/ignition.pdf Other browsers tested: Add OK or FAIL, along with the version, after other browsers where you have tested this issue: Safari: Firefox: IE: What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) go to url http://www.sciencemadness.org/library/books/ignition.pdf (2) Scroll down to some text e.g. page 50 (3) What is the expected result? Readable pdf What happens instead? Looks like zalgo text Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible. Also broken in chrome on OS X Opening the pdf in Preview on OS X looks normal

Thanks Stefan for filing this issue. I was able to reproduce in current stable( M56) as well as in previous stable ( M55), but is fixed in latest dev and canary. OS == Win 10 system. Chrome Versions ============== 55.0.2883.85 (Official Build) - Not working 56.0.2924.76 (Official Build) - Not working 57.0.2987.19 (Official Build) - working 58.0.2998.0 (Official Build) - working Tested some other sample PDFs, all are working fine, so not raising the priority. M56 stable refresh is scheduled tomorrow, don't have time for a fix . This issue will be resolved once M-57 hits stable.
