Vimeo 4k video stop in 0:05 timestamp, claiming "Having issue? switch to auto for smoother streaming"

Issue description

Chrome Version: 57.0.2987.13
OS: Mac

This could be an issue with vimeo. I only see it happen on Mac
What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) navigate to https://vimeo.com/93003441
(2) switch HD to 4k
(3) play video

What is the expected result?
playback is smooth

What happens instead?
playback pause at 0:05 timestamp

I am unable to reproduce. Perhaps a network glitch?

What device did you test with?

I can consistenly repro this issue on Mac. I don't think it is a network glitch. 
What are the specs of your mac device, Yining? It might be nice to paste those into all perf-related bugs.
I'm also curious if there is a WiFi bandwidth problem. Does the issue reproduce with an Ethernet connection?
