Chrome OS: Alt+Search does not always toggle Caps Lock |
|||||
Issue descriptionChrome Version: 58.0.2994.0 What steps will reproduce the problem? Alt+Search is supposed to toggle Caps Lock, but it does not always work. There are 4 ways to press the key 1. Press Alt, Press Search, Release Search, Release Alt 2. Press Alt, Press Search, Release Alt, Release Search 3. Press Search, Press Alt, Release Search, Release Alt 4. Press Search, Press Alt, Release Alt, Release Search but only the first one works. What is the expected result? All of them (1-4) work. What happens instead? 1. Works. 2. Does not work. The app shelf pops up. 3. Does not work. The key combo is just ignored. 4. Does not work. The key combo is just ignored. Please use labels and text to provide additional information. I know modifier-only accelerators are difficult to implement ;) but if that is the case, we should probably change the combo to something non-modifier-only. IIRC we did it for Alt+Shift sometime ago, right?
