Issue descriptionChrome Version: 57.0.2987.18 (Official Build)Revision ad76d4a118911f50fc0aa39ff30b18faf05eff55-refs/branch-heads/2987@{#164} (32/64-bit) OS:Windows (7,8,10),Linux (14.04 LTS) What steps will reproduce the problem? (1)Launch chrome and bookmark any webpage. (2)Click on wrench > bookmarks > bookmark manager (3)Click on bookmarked url and right click anywhere on page such that context menu appears. Actual: Blue highlight remains on bookmarked url after right clicking on page. Expected: Grey highlight should appear on bookmarked url after right clicking on page. This is a regression issue broken in 'M55' and below is the manual regression range Good Build: 55.0.2850.0 Bad Build: 55.0.2851.0 Note: Issue not seen on Mac OS.

I've figured out the difference. With f0f1f24c00093e0112f7c7956fb07518fc49aa29 we properly extend the bookmark UI to the full height of the browser window which means focus is not actually lost. It's working as intended. The bug was the behavior that we lost focus as a result of issue 634704 where the page was only as long as the bookmark list. You can tell because if you right click high enough up that it still hits the page it has the same behavior before / after this change. |
