confirm() dialog box is not visible (but it is interactive)

Reported by inmanric...@gmail.com, Jan 30 2017

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/56.0.2924.76 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Try to open send file in Gmail without subject in Chrome
2. Try to open time scheduling webpage in Chrome
3. Try both in Edge and Firefox

What is the expected behavior?
1- Box will pop asking if I'm sure I want to send without subject
2-Box will pop asking if I'm sure I want to post hours to a bulletin board.

What went wrong?
No box pops, instead can not continue at all, any buttons pressed gives the Windows error ding, and have to hit escape to cancel out the ghost error. Note: Java script is turned on in settings, along with sites specifically being allowed as an extra measure and still not working. They DO work as expected in Edge or Firefox.

Did this work before? Yes It has been quite a while

Chrome version: 56.0.2924.76 Channel: stable
OS Version: 10.0
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 24.0 r0

inmanrichardallen@ - Thanks for filing the issue...!!

Could you please more elaborate on the bit point 2 of Steps to reproduce the problem.

Is there any specific URL to open a time scheduling webpage in Chrome?

Also could you please explain the 2-Box will pop asking if I'm sure I want to post hours to a bulletin board of the expected behavior.

A screen cast explaining the issue will be more helpful.

This will help us in triaging the issue further.

Thanks...!!
I work from home, and if I click on my schedule after I'm logged in, then
click a button to post my hours for someone else, a box should pop up
asking if I'm sure, but doesn't. (The same situation with sending the email
without a subject.) I can't screenshot, because nothing visibly happens.
However, if I hit any buttons, the windows ding will sound, making me hit
escape to continue.

Unable to reproduce the issue on Win-10 using chrome latest stable #56.0.2924.87 and latest canary #58.0.3017.0.

Attached a screen cast for reference.

Following are the steps followed to reproduce the issue.
------------
1. Composed a mail from gmail account in chrome browser without any subject and body.
2. Observed a pop up dialog box appeared asking "Send this message without a subject or text in the body?" with "OK" and "Cancel" buttons.

inmanrichardallen@ - Could you please verify the screencast and please let us know if anything missed from our side.

Thanks...!!

@inmanrichardallen -
Can you go to chrome://gpu and save and attach the report it shows to this issue?
Also, do you have any non-default or non-ordinary Windows display settings? Like high DPI, enabled magnifier, desktop compositing disabled and so on?
Here is how to get to those settings, in case you do not know -
