Which web page were you on when you try Share?

Any website. I noticed when wanting to download a PDF to Dropbox which I can do from safari.

-Bob.
Hi

To save your PDF to dropbox in Chrome,
1) Open the PDF
2) Then tap anywhere
3) Tap "Open in..." in the bottom bar
4) Save to Dropbox.

Thanks

Ah that worked .... good to know as I was worried I was going to have to give up chrome. It's non-standard but at least it's a solution.

Thanks.

-Bob.
The contextual menu in Web View in is not customizable and the options used by Safari are not always the most logic ones.
For example, if you share a link in safari, it shares the URL of the link (not the text of the link) in the text field (not the URL field).

The result is that if you try to share information in the standard field (share URLs as URLs), some extension do not trigger.
We filed bugs to Apple and hope we can provide a better experience if they fix it.
But we had to make choices to provide the functionality.
