Verified this issue on Ubuntu 14.04 with chrome version #55.0.2987.37
Observed that in both console and network tab's Regex checkbox is seen, attaching a screen-cast for reference.

einbinder@ Could you please look into it and confirm that this expected behavior of this CL.

Is it me or the regex bar has disappered again?
I am on Chrome Version 62.0.3202.75 (Official Build) (64-bit)

RegEx is working for me in the "Filter" text box if I just enclose my query in forward-slashes. See pic.
