Hi there tdanderson, can you help in clarifying something.
When you say that there is a bubble above the system menu (quick settings), is it literally above quick settings or is it the bubble inside quick settings (see attached image)?

If it's above, can you please attach a screenshot?

When I filed this bug I believe that there was small dialog that periodically appeared above quick settings (separate from the update row shown in your screenshot). I remember this being called the "update nagger" in the code but I can't seem to find this anywhere.

tetsui@, do you know if/where this code path exists?
