Cannot search into the elements panel

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Ubuntu Chromium/55.0.2883.87 Chrome/55.0.2883.87 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open the devtools
2. Go to the elements panel
3. Type ^f

What is the expected behavior?
A search box should appear.

What went wrong?
Nothing happen.

Did this work before? N/A 

Chrome version: 55.0.2883.87  Channel: stable
OS Version: 16.10
Flash Version: 

I've found a workaround: press F2 to edit an element (no matter what) and then type ^f which this time will works properly.
