Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_12_2) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/55.0.2883.95 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Using the Omnibox, enter a keyword that brings up a bookmark suggestion from your bookmarks 2. Go to Settings -> Search -> Manage Search Engines 3. Select a Non-Google Search Engine, such as Bing, as the default 4. Again, within the Omnibox, type the same keyword used during step one What is the expected behavior? The bookmark suggestion appears What went wrong? The bookmark suggestion does not appear Did this work before? Able to reproduce the issue on Mac 10.12.2,Win 10 and Ubuntu 14.04 using Stable 55.0.2883.95 and canary 58.0.29921.0. This is a non-regression issue since 39.0.2135.0. Note : Sign-in to your browser to get your stored bookmarks.

This works for me. It's possible that changing the search engine changes what query suggestions are retrieved from the server, and that could affect whether the bookmark scores highly enough to show up. The suggestions retrieved from the server, and the bookmark scoring, both depend on the exact omnibox input. Can you please post the chrome://omnibox the input that fails to bring up the bookmark? Please check the boxes "show all details" and "show results by provider". thanks, mark

The original reporter has not replied. durga.behera@, you said in comment #3 that you reproduced this. Can you give precise repro instructions? I cannot reproduce based on the original reporter's report.

Can anyone reproduce this? I could not, but someone on the test team previously code. Retagging with Needs-TestConfirmation to see if this is still an issue.
