Google Store financing website fails to load ("unexpectedly closed connection")

Project Member Reported by jainabhi...@chromium.org, Jan 22 2017

Issue description

Chrome Version: M55+ (I am testing on M57)
OS: Win, CROS

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Open store.google.com
(2) Select a pixel and choose options
(3) Select to pay monthly on checkout
(4) Pop Up opens that takes you to external site
OR
Visit synchronycredit.com or syf.com/googlestorefinancing or https://credit.syf.com

What is the expected result?
Site should load as long as I am connected to internet

What happens instead?
I see a message that suggests I am not connected to internet but instead I reached this site through a Search engine result page.

While trying to replicate the issue I found
1. On one profile site loads after few refreshes on other it doesn't no matter what I try.
2. I have same adblock and other extensions on both profiles.
3. Site loads in incognito in both profiles.
4. Site loads without any issue on IE or other browsers.
5. After site loads in incognito it loads without incognito as well.

While this could be due to an external dependency, is it possible to show a better message ? Message given to user is that they are not connected to internet which is not the case.
