Not able to view an image from Hangout when using more than one Gmail accounts

Reported by todor.pe...@gmail.com, Jan 21 2017

Issue description

Chrome Version : <from About Google Chrome/Chromium or
'about:version'>
URL :
Behavior in Safari 4.x/5.x:
Behavior in Firefox 3.x/4.x:

Pre-conditions:
I have two different Gmail accounts - personal and for business.
In some reason when I try to open any Google related content it's using by default one of them and I am not able to set explicitly which one always to use.
Also I have installed on my PC a Hangout client for Windows that is linked to my business account.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) A colleague send my an image via Hangout.
(2) I try to open it via the Hangout client and the Chrome starts opening a new tab for me to display this picture.
(3) Then the page says "You do not have permission to view this album" and I need to request an access, but at least I do not want to.
The reason I do not have access is because the Chrome opens any Google content by default with my personal account, when this content is related to the other one that is for business ONLY.
(4) Then I switch from the top right corner from my personal to my business account and it redirects me directly to the Google+ account page and I am not able to view the image that my colleague previously sent me.

If you need any other information please let me know.

Best regards,
Todor

Unable to reproduce the scenario on Mac 10.12.3 with latest dev #58.0.3013.3

These are the steps followed.

1. logged into the chrome with etouchkiran@gmail.com as default account
2. Added another account testetouch19@gmail.com
3. From other account sent an image to testetouch19@gmail.com
4. In the dev hangout window, changed the account to testetouch19@gmail.com
5. Received the image without any permissions required pop up

todor.petrovsky@ could you please look into it and let us know any steps i have missed while reproducing the scenario.

Hi,

thank you for the deep and detailed information about your attempt to reproduce this issue.

Actually I did not test it with the Web Hangout application, but I tested it with the "standalone" hangout application which you should install on your OS (in my case Windows 8.1) and only with it you are gonna be able to reproduce it.

Screenshot of the Client Hangout that I am using:

Please, let me know if you have any further questions.

Best regards,
Todor
