Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/55.0.2883.87 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Save some file to a non-default location 2. Save some other file What is the expected behavior? Seeing the last used folder What went wrong? I'm seeing the default folder instead. Did this work before? Yes 1-2 months ago at most Chrome version: 55.0.2883.87 Channel: stable OS Version: Manjaro (rolling updates) Flash Version: Please note this used to work for ages, suddenly stopped a few weeks ago (I'm on rolling updates so I'd assume with a new version of Chromium).

OK, verified. 1. I took stable Google Chrome from AUR (55.0.2883.87), the problem is still there. 2. Tried in Firefox, behaves as expected. Maybe I should have mentioned one more thing --> I have enabled the "ask me everytime where to save files" option. So the actual scenario is like this: 1. My default download location is $HOME/Downloads 2. I click on a file, the file dialog comes up. First sign of trouble: it shows $HOME/Documents, not $HOME/Downloads! 3. Anyway, I go to $HOME/other_folder, click save, downloading... 4. I click on another file, the file dialog comes up again and it's again $HOME/Documents. Please note that $HOME/Downloads exists, I even re-selected it again (via a file dialog!) so it must be correct.

Another observation: it affects really only saving. If there's an upload dialog or something else which invokes the file selector, it works -- I upload stuff from a directory and I see the same directory opened when I click to upload another file.

Seems fixed in 56.0.2924.76.
