No add-ons work in Chromium for windows 10

Issue description
Chrome Version : 52.0.2743.116
OS Version: 10.0

Other browsers tested:
Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue:
Google Chrome Version 55.0.2883.87 m: OK
Chromium for Linux: OK
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install add-ons for Chromium from Chrome web store (specifically I tried Web Of Trust, Ad-block plus, and DummyText).
2. Try to click on the icon for the add-on.
What is the expected result?
An interface for the add-on should appear so you can configure or use it.
What happens instead of that?
Nothing appears

possible.

Tested this issue on windows 10 with different chrome and chromium versions. Installed Trust of Worthy and ad block extensions. Able to configure the extensions in all the versions. eric@ could you please update chromium to the latest version and let us know your observations.
