Quick View: autoplay might be annoying

Project Member Reported by oka@chromium.org, Jan 20 2017

Issue description

I got a feedback that autoplaying unmuted audios/videos without any particular notice might be annoying in some situation.
IIRC, it is intentional decision by UX (Tien), but can we rethink about it?

From M55, quick view opens from context menu "Get info" not only from space key. It may be surprising for user if they try to get info and suddenly audio starts to play.

@oka - I agree with the feedback. I think that when Quick View opens (whether via spacebar or Get Info), we should allow the user to initiate playback of video and audio files.

@mcirimele - Please let us know if you think differently.
Let me just say I like autoplay of videos/audio! I use it all the time
My expectation would be for it to autoplay if I hit the spacebar, but not if I click Get Info (MacOS behavior). The difference here compared to MacOS is that the two entry points lead to the same view, which means that it should always do the same thing.

I'm on the fence about video, but I would not expect audio to autoplay and think we should have a consistent behavior so I agree to remove autoplay for video / audio.

We could consider having a different view shown when entering from the spacebar, which only previews and autoplays. Just a thought :)
Oh - Maybe if the "Info" panel is active on quick view, then we suppress autoplay? Otherwise, if "Info" panel is collapsed, we autoplay on quick view.
@weifangsun - I like that idea. Let's try it.

Sounds good - @oka, let me know if you have any further questions on this one.

This applies for both video and audio right?
Correct, thanks!

Chrome implemented a change where videos no longer autoplay the sound by default, so this should be OK.
