input "ji'xin" via Microsoft Pinyin results in Chrome crashing

Reported by hsnd...@gmail.com, Jan 20 2017

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/55.0.2883.87 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. On Windows 10 Professional, open Chrome, select "Chinese (Simplified, China) Microsoft Pinyin" as the main input method
2. Type "jixin" in the search bar
3. Select any character for the pinyin "ji" will result in the entire browser freezing and crashing

What is the expected behavior?
Normally, when using the Microsoft Pinyin input method, one should be able to select each individual character from the corresponding pinyin entered. (Because one pinyin could yield tens of matching characters) After one selection is made, the character tab should show the characters for the next pinyin in the sequence.

What went wrong?
After selecting any character for the pinyin "ji", the browser initially freezes, and requires task manager to "end task" in order to close.

Unable to reproduce this issue on Windows-10 using chrome latest stable M55-55.0.2883.87 by following steps mentioned in the original comment. Observed no crashes or freezing while selecting the character from "jixin" in search bar.

hsndong@ Are you able to reproduce this issue consistently including incognito mode? Could you please provide any sample crash ID's from chrome://crashes for further investigation.

Thanks!
