Chrome keeps crashing

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/57.0.2984.0 Safari/537.36
Platform:  55.0.2883.105 

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Update to latest OS version
2. Then open tabs
3. 

What is the expected behavior?
To be able to work in different tabs without the system crashing and restrating

What went wrong?
When we update to the latest version .105 it won't allow us to open more than one tab and if we do it crashes and restarts the chromebooks over.

Did this work before? Yes .103

Chrome version:  55.0.2883.105   Channel: stable
OS Version: 55.0.2883.105
Flash Version: Flash Version: 24.0.0.186

We need it fixed as soon as possible. Our students can't get work done because of the crashing issue.
