Regression : Flickering of contents is seen in 'Performace' section of devtools

Issue description

Version: 57.0.2986.0 12c8d70173fc1a04fa588b75be71ab5e80655c60-refs/heads/master@{#444600} (64-bit)
OS: Mac OS X(10.11.6, 10.12.1)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Launch chrome, navigate to NTP and open devtools.
2. Now go to 'Performance' section and click on 'Learn More' link which navigates to new tab.
3. Now close the newly open tab and observe the contents of 'Performance' section in devtools window

Actual: Flickering of contents is seen after closing tab
Expected: Flickering of contents should not be seen after closing tab

This is regression issue, broken in ‘M 57’ and will soon update other info :
Good build:57.0.2984.0
Bad build: 57.0.2985.0

Note : Issue is not seen on Linux and Windows OS.
