Reported by dragonsa...@gmail.com, Jan 19 2017

Issue description

Device name: LG G5(LG-H831).

From "Settings > About Chrome"
Application version: 56.0.2924.68
Operating system: Android 7.0.0; LG-H831 Build/NRD90U

URLs (if applicable): any

Steps to reproduce:
(1) open chrome beta and browse websites.
(2) close tabs and app
(3) notice significant battery drain (10-15% over night). Due to cpu wake.

Will bisect the issue if able to repro.
5% over 2-3 mins of app open time. Time lapse 5 hours. Apps closed.

Adding Charlie, our power expert :) Charlie, is this something you have bandwidth to look into?

Is this only on the LG G5, or are we seeing this on all Android Phones?
I'm happy to look into this. I don't have bandwidth to look into it immediately (currently working on improving BattOr stability on the waterfall, which is my top priority), but am aiming to get to it in the next few weeks.

Thanks Charlie! Assigning it to you.

Unfortunately, I was never able to circle back to this, which I apologize for. Realistically, I'm focused on imporving power regression testing now rather than fixing existing power problems, so I'm not sure that I'm the best choice for investigating this anyhow.
