blur event occur infinite alert loop

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/55.0.2883.87 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Regist onblur event of <input type=text>.
2. Pop alert(); in blur event.
3. focusin <input type=text> area and click outside of chrome browser, not in chrome browser

What is the expected behavior?
1. Pop alert
2. click "OK" botton
3. process end

What went wrong?
occur infinite loop alert();

Did this work before? Yes 52.

Chrome version: 55.0.2883.87  Channel: stable
OS Version: 10.0
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 24.0 r0

IE has no problem, chrome also had no problem, but maybe from 54. version occur this problem, This caused a major bug in our system. Please solve this problem asap.

I am having the same issue with looping alert messages.  This is affecting past and present iterations of my software.  Please address as soon as possible.
