I suspect these would get out of sync again immediately. How urgently do we need this? I feel like we could do this cleaner without buildbot by having a pool that does both waterfall and try builds, maybe with the recipe taking a revision (or head) vs a patch for waterfall vs try modes.

Are you concerned that an individual trybot gets out of sync w/ an individual waterfall builder? That can't really happen w/ the chromium recipes.

Or, are you concerned that the lists get out of sync? I think we kinda already have checks for this and we can certainly add more.

It's possible that it's easier to do this in a non-buildbot world, of course, since luci solves all problems :). It's also a basically manual operational task to do this now and it is a real-world need (we're already supposed to be providing this and devs get frustrated when we don't have matching tryservers).

That said, I think P2 is the right priority for this. I won't be crushed if we don't get to this soon, but it would be good if we did.

Ok, where are the existing checks? It's the lists getting out of sync that I worry about.
