chromeos-4.4: Merge with stable kernel v4.4.44

Tracking bug for merge of v4.4.44 into chromeos-4.4

The following patches will be reverted from v4.4.44 prior to the merge to reduce conflicts.

"xhci: workaround for hosts missing CAS bit"

The following patches will be reverted from chromeos-4.4 prior to the merge for the same reason.

CHROMIUM: Merge tag 'v4.4.44' into chromeos-4.4

The following patches have been reverted from v4.4.44 prior to the merge
to reduce the amount of conflicts. Those patches will have to be applied
separately from upstream if needed.
