Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.12; rv:50.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/50.0 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open attached html file in Version 56.0.2924.59 beta (64-bit) What is the expected behavior? It should run two tests. First save a single 300MB blob to indexeddb. Then save the same blob in .5MB chunks. What went wrong? I get a permission error. Did this work before? Yes Version 55.0.2883.95 (64-bit) Does this work in other browsers? Yes Chrome version: 56.0.2924.59 beta (64-bit) Channel: beta OS Version: OS X 10.12.2 Flash Version: The attached test case works completely in v57. It can access the database and begin writing in v55 but runs into abort errors after a certain number of saves. In v56 I get a permission error and can't even begin writing.

Thank you for looking into this. I'm not really sure why I'm getting a different result than you. The blob write failures are expected in <57 as this is a test related to this bug: https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=682188#c1 However, in 56, I'm still getting the permissions error. What other info can I provide to help track down the cause? I've attached a screencast of my result.

Issue looks similar to Issue 375297 , hence merged into it. |
