Parallel Samba build? |

Issue descriptionBuilding Samba on my workstation only takes a couple of minutes using "./configure && make -j8" whereas to emerge it in the chroot is much slower. Why is that the case? Is there a chance the CrOS build could be sped up by means of parallelization?

Also worth noting that because in the official build we split talloc, tevent, tdb, and ldb to separate packages we pay the configure cost multiple times which is actually most of the elapsed time on a decent machine. |
