Tested in chrome #55.0.2883.95 and canary #57.0.2985 on Mac 10.12.2 and not able to reproduce the issue.Please find the screen shots for your reference.

@stebarg:

Could you please let me know if i have missed anything and if possible, provide us with a sample steps of the issue which would help us to triage the issue further.

It might be possible we don't offer translation "Englisch (Vereinigte Staaten)", but we do offer translation for "Englisch"

stebarg@, could you please try that instead? (And also try French, just to see if it's generally disabled on your machine, or just for English?)
