Sync and crashes

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 10_2_1 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/602.4.6 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/10.0 Mobile/14D27 Safari/602.1
Platform: 8972.76.0

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Update to latest version 
2. Then sign into our domin and then crashes 
3. 

What is the expected behavior?
To open without issues 

What went wrong?
The chromebooks crashes and restarts. 

Crashed report ID: No

How much crashed? Whole browser

Is it a problem with a plugin? N/A 

Did this work before? No 

Chrome version: 55.0.2883.105  Channel: stable
OS Version: 55.0.2883.105
Flash Version: 24.0.0.186

It has only started since the recent stable version update.
 
Everything worked fine till we updated to the latest version. If a student has not updated then no issues 
Have we found a fix yet?

What model of Chromebooks are these?  
There was a similar-sounding crash issue on Stable 55 affecting Acer R-13 Chromebooks, fixed on Jan 7.  Take a look at  Issue #673349  (might be the same problem you describe here and in  Issue #682799 .)
These are ASUS C200's and C202's
