David, can you try to repro please?

This looks like out of scope for TE, hence adding the respective label for it to triage further.
FWIW, I can't repro this. The Cast button appears (the one in the video player just left of the full screen button).

abhay8nitt@, if you're able to reproduce this reliably could you please submit feedback (right-click on the Cast toolbar icon and select 'Report an issue'), and include this bug number in the description.
Done ! Also attached the screenshot for all the three modes

abhay8nitt@, thanks. Looking at that, the other thing I'm noticing is that the player UI is different between the 'Normal' and 'Incognito'/'Canary' versions. I wonder if your Normal profile is enrolled in some sort of YT experiment (or opted-out of some setting), which is causing the player UI to be different (and not include the Cast icon).

In your Normal profile can you try going to Chrome Settings > Content Settings > All cookies and sites data and deleting everything for youtube.com, then reloading the page and seeing if things work?
Thanks for replying- I followed - "In your Normal profile can you try going to Chrome Settings > Content Settings > All cookies and sites data and deleting everything for youtube.com, then reloading the page". Unfortunately it doesn't work. I am just wondering, if for a while we forget Canary - why the cast button appears in the incognito mode [Google Chrome ] but not in the non-incognito mode. I know I can live with it but thought of sharing :) . Another thing I tried is uninstalling but I see the same behaviour as mentioned in the bug description

Well there is something about your profile that is causing you to receive
an altogether different YouTube player - it's not just the Cast button
that's missing, but the UI styling is subtly different as well. Are you
signed into YT.com in your Normal profile? You could try signing out to
see if that resolves the issue too.
Thanks- I deleted the chrome profile and added a new one - things seem to be working. Thanks a ton!
What could have gone wrong with the Profile ?

Glad it's working now! As far as what could have gone wrong--I'm not entirely sure. I suspect something was set oddly in your cookies or local profile. If it happens again, please reopen this bug.
Sure! You guys are awesome! Thanks for your time! Google rocks!
