Exosphere Gamepad Support Broken |
||||||||
Issue descriptionA couple of people reported gamepads in ARC++ apps to stop working in dev channel. The container / wayland client does not receive any gamepad events anymore. The most recent changes on exo gamepad code was this CL https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+/5367010cc54ad46dfa4cf535fd8e6527d4460891 I'll do some more digging on the chrome side to figure out what's happening there.

Actually chrome seems to be generating the correct wayland events but we were losing events on the Android side in InputFlinger. I'll close this bug once the changes on the android side are merged.

Android changes merged to M56 and M57. They should be included in the next release of the Beta/Dev channel.

Unfortunately the fix did not make the cut for yesterdays beta channel update. The change got into ARC version 3650421, so it should come with the update next week.

Stopped working in M60 on Cyan for ARC++ and ChromeOS (verified by http://html5gamepad.com/ and in ChromeOS-Applauncher). Controller is DualShock 4 via Bluetooth. Didn't test some months long, so can not confirm for M58/M59. Probably the same issue?
