Accounts added are not saved in the sign in list after tapping on “undo” in Ok got it screen. |

Issue descriptionApp Version: 57.0.2983.0 Canary iOS Version: 9.3.5,iOS 10 Device : iPhone,iPad Precondition : 1. Have few accounts saved in SSO. Steps to reproduce: 1. Launch chrome do not sign in to chrome. 2. Tap on Menu > Settings > Sign in to chrome. 3. Tap on Add account. 4. Sign in with new user which is not present in the list. 5. Tap on “Undo” in Okay got it screen. Observed results: The signed in user account is not reflected in sign in screen. Expected results: Signed in account should be displayed in the sign in list. The "new" behavior is actually Working as Intended. The account is supposed to be removed when Undo is tapped. It's likely you stumbled on Issue 680098 (which I fixed 6 days ago). Could you check on a "working version" (on M55/56/57.0.2979.0) what happens if after tapping "Undo" you tap on "Add Account" again? I expect it to crash. Also removing RBS since there is probably no bug here.

Verified the issue on below versions. User name is reflected on tapping on undo in the version 57.0.2979.0 canary . User name is not reflected on tapping undo in signin screen in the version 56.0.2924.69 dev and 55.0.2883.79 dev

Ah yes, sorry. It should be tapping on the newly added account and not on "Add Account", my bad. I just tried on M56 and M57 (prior to 57.0.2980.0), and it did indeed crash. So the underlying issue was actually Issue 680098 , and now it is working as intended. Closing. |
