super chatty notification alerts

Issue descriptionWHenever a notification comes in, the Chromevox screen reader Next is extremely chatty when it is restarted after turning it off, then turning it back on. It is so chatty that I'm not sure I'm going to go nuts because it chats up notifications up to eight times when notifications come in. any notifications that come in through the notification bar. Things like my messenger and Facebook notifications, download notifications, pretty much all of the notifications are coming in and when they do, Chromebox seems to be pretty chatty and they tend to be spoken more than their share of times. I'm okay with them being spoken twice but when they're being spoken like eight times, that's what's going

Hello, This specific issue has been fixed but is similar to other issues now that are appearing for overly verbose alerts. If this continues, please comment on the new master bug 807389 In the meantime, I am closing this since it is resolved. Thanks, Laura |
