Chrome 63.0.3207.0 (Official Build) canary (64-bit) (cohort: 64-Bit) Windows 10 Enterprise Version 10.0.14393 Build 14393 NVDA 2017.3 FireFox 55.0.3 (64-bit) Hello, I can reproduce this issue, the first character is not read but the ones after that are read. Here are the steps I used: Create new Google doc with ScreenReader Support on but braille support off. Type text, "Hello world." press left arrow key multiple times and listen. NVDA speaks: [nothing] d, l, r Press right arrow key multiple times and listen: NVDA speaks: [nothing] l, d, dot. For the same steps in FireFox, there are no issues. This is a Chrome-only issue.
