Issue descriptionI recorded a video to better describe what is going on. https://goo.gl/photos/MQbvDobJSMLV744cA Essentially, if the device is in portrait mode then the source canvas doesn't get placed on the screen correctly.

To clarify, portrait mode is referring to the Android setting that keeps the device displaying in a portrait orientation rather than auto-rotating. The report is using Daydream. TBD whether this affects Carboard.

I'm able to reproduce this with: Pixel w/ Canary or ToT (Beta works) w/ Play Store version of VrCore, both Daydream and Cardboard 5X w/ ToT w/ nightly version of VrCore that supports KLM, Cardboard

From the video, it looks like the same issue as: https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=680240

I think this is a duplicate of issue 680240 , but I'm not completely sure.

Bugdroid appears to be acting up. https://codereview.chromium.org/2641813003/ landed but didn't update this issue. Should be fixed now.
