Displayed Page Info doesn't update when Security Chip changes

Chrome Version: 57.0.2979.0
OS: Windows 10

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Start navigation to a slow loading HTTPS site (e.g. https://bankofamerica.com)
(2) Click the neutral Security chip to fly out the pageinfo
(3) Watch as load completes

What is the expected result? Page Info updates with current page security status

What happens instead? Page Info shows neutral status
