Issue descriptionExample URL: http://www.w3schools.com/cssref/playit.asp?filename=playcss_position&preval=fixed Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open the given URL 2. Zoom in the Page 3. Now the fixed Element isn't displayed correct within the viewport (it's outside of visible part) What is the expected behavior? Elements with position:fixed should always shown within the visbile part independent from the scalling factor on mobile devices (like Chrome on Desktop PCs do). What went wrong? If a user of a web site zooms in fixed elements are not displayed correctly. So for example if you have an overlay with position:fixed the user maybe don't recognize it. Does it occur on multiple sites: Yes Is it a problem with a plugin? No Did this work before? N/A Does this work in other browsers? Yes Chrome version: 55.0.2883.91 Channel: stable OS Version: 4.2.2 - 6.0.1 Flash Version:

I believe you have a misunderstanding of how position:fixed works. It is attached to the layout viewport. You should read this blog post: https://developers.google.com/web/updates/2015/01/What-the-Viewport
