Private windows/tabs are recoverable in non-private windows via an extension

Reported by boolean....@gmail.com, Jan 12 2017

Issue description

Chrome Version : 55.0.2883.75 (Developer Build) built on Debian stretch/sid, running on Debian stretch/sid (64-bit)
URLs (if applicable) : nA
Other browsers tested:
Add OK or FAIL, along with the version, after other browsers where you
have tested this issue:
     Safari: not tested
    Firefox: not tested
         IE: not tested

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Install crxMouse Chrome Gestures (2.9.1)
(2) Open private window and some website
(3) Close website in private window
(4) Perform repopen closed tab (e.g. even in non-private window)
(5) Closed tab opens

What is the expected result?

The closed tab from the private window should not be available, especially in the non-private window.

What happens instead?

The closed tab, from the private window, opens in the non-private window.

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.

I don't know whether this is considered as a bug, but this should not be reproducible imho.
A private tab should be constrained to the private window. If I reopen a private tab (with the mentioned extension) it should not be possible to available in the non-private window.
I assume this is an issue with the extension, but also with how chromium handles private tabs all together.
