Dragging text to fullscreen fakebox creates nonfunctional omnibox dropdown

Issue descriptionChrome: 57.0.2978.5 (Official Build) 90f5f39801f111bbc6b5d886035fb990b215f251-refs/branch-heads/2978@{#8} (64-bit) OS: Windows(7,8,8.1,10) Linux(14.04 LTS). 1. Launch chrome, go to NTP, switch to Full Screen mode, Click on Google App Icon. 2. Drag any app link to google search bar, try to access link in available dropdown and observe Actual Result: Provided link not accessible. Expected Result: Provided link should be accessible. This is NR issue seen from M33 Note: Issue not observed on MAC os.

Related to bug 243926. This isn't specific to app links. Basically, you can't type in the fakebox in fullscreen mode, but if you drag text to it, you get an omnibox dropdown for that text. However, attempting to click the items in the dropdown just dismisses the dropdown.

Does not repro for me on Linux on version 68.0.3440.84. The fakebox doesn't respond to dragging text to it anymore. |
