HTMLMediaElement.currentTime incorrect after seeking backwards and pausing |
||||||||||||||||||||||||
Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_12_2) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/55.0.2883.95 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Go to https://storage.googleapis.com/shaka-demo-assets/_bugs/chrome-seek-backwards-and-pause/index.html 2. Wait. What is the expected behavior? The video should seek to 60s. What went wrong? The video seeks correctly, but the currentTime variable and progress bar both move back to 180s after a moment. It plays video samples starting at 60s as expected if resumed from the pause, so it seems to only be a problem with how currentTime is tracked. Did this work before? N/A Does this work in other browsers? Yes Chrome version: 55.0.2883.95 Channel: stable OS Version: OS X 10.12.2 Flash Version:

Seems perhaps just a control invalidation issue? I don't see the issue on Linux M56 though. if you check chrome://version you should get the latest update. Does that resolve your issue?
