ctrl-shift-w isn't the same functionality. Having to press w lots of times is a regression in functionality instead of being able to hold it down to get rid of a lot of tabs (I frequently have 30+ open). Is there some way to re-enable this?

You can use the awesome AutoHotkey: install it and put the following script into your Windows Start Menu - "Startup" folder. #ifWinActive ahk_class Chrome_WidgetWin_1 $^w::send ^w #ifWinActive

I see, I'll try that out. Is there somewhere I can complain about this change and petition/add to petitioning for it to be reinstated, or is there no point in that?
