Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:50.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/50.0 Example URL: Steps to reproduce the problem: 1.ask for a friend to videocall you 2. a windows opens to answer or not and no ringing sound 3. What is the expected behavior? a windows opens to answer or not and there is ringing sound What went wrong? a windows opens to answer or not and there is ringing sound Did this work before? N/A Is it a problem with Flash or HTML5? N/A Does this work in other browsers? N/A Chrome version: 55.0.2883.87 (64-bit) Channel: stable OS Version: Flash Version: Contents of chrome://gpu: openSUSE 42.2 x86_64 hangouts 2016.1219.943.1 i tried to disable all extensions, to delete all data, cookies and to install again hangouts. Problem is still there. i assume a problem between chrome/hangouts and pulseaudio/phonon.

Unable to reproduce the issue on Ubuntu 14.04 with chrome version #55.0.2883.87 Able to hear the ringing sound in the hangouts window. Attaching the screen-cast for your reference, could you please look into this and let us know observations, Please mention the OS details in which issue is raised.

1. as indicated in description i use chrome hangouts extension 2016.1219.943.1 you use hangouts.google.com 2. what details do you want about my OS ? in description i indicated "openSUSE 42.2 x86_64" thanks

if i use hangouts.google.com then there is a ringing sound when someone videocalls me.
