Expected result: expect to open in chrome beta app


Actual result: opens in app (Facebook) or as single page outside of chrome beta, as opposed to a new tab in chrome beta app

Is this an intended feature or a bug? I browse with multiple tabs and expect pages to open in chrome. Every time I open a link, I have to select menu > open in chrome Beta. I thought maybe I needed to change a setting within my other apps, or within chrome, but I'm unable to force pages to open in the chrome beta browser. I'm going back to regular chrome app until/unless this is fixed, because it's only creating frustration. I honestly don't even know if anything else is working better in the beta build because I can't get past this issue.
