High CPU usage when typing in the omnibox

Issue description
UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/55.0.2883.87 Safari/537.36
Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Type in the omnibox

What is the expected behavior?
Should work fine without lag and CPU spiking
What went wrong?
Main process ("Browser") becomes unresponsive for a split second and CPU usage spikes at 25% (on a dual-core system). This only happens until the suggestion list appears. When the suggestions are loaded, CPU usage (and responsiveness) return to normal.

Could be caused by history lookup in case the user profile has a very big History file with lots of entries. See [1] and issue 671759 [1]: https://groups.google.com/a/chromium.org/forum/#!searchin/chromium-dev/vector$20based/chromium-dev/4uQMma9vj9w/HaQ-WvMOAwAJ
