In classic ash the chrome browser process handled everything to do with display management. The core display management code, display change notifications, display keyboard shortcuts, display preferences, display options page, display power management and content protection management were all in the same process.
In mustash these tasks are split across three different process. Core display management code is in the mus-ws. Display change notifications and display keyboard shortcuts are in ash. Display preferences, display options, display power management and display content protection management are all in chrome.
We will need Mojo interfaces so that code can work across processes or if possible some of the tasks could just run in the mus-ws.
