Web app installed to home doesn't open when navigating links under its scope

Issue description

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Navigate to https://www.pokedex.org
2. Add to home screen
3. Tap on any link to https://www.pokedex.org (link inside SMS for example)

What is the expected behavior?
The app installed to home screen should open the URL.

What went wrong?
Chrome opens the URL

Did this work before? N/A 

Does this work in other browsers? N/A

Chrome version: 55.0.2883.91  Channel: stable
OS Version: 6.0

Thanks for reporting the issue. However, we were unable to repro this issue with chrome stable: 55.0.2883.91, devices: Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge/6.0, Redmi Note 3/6.0. Can you please provide your device details like name, model, along with any video/screenshot of the issue?

This isn't a bug; it's a feature request.  Should be handled by WebAPKs.

Yes, App deep link is handled by WebAPKs.
Oh, I see. I misunderstood or misread something then.
WebAPK is something that's still under development, right?
That's right; they're currently in a developer preview.

You can test in Chrome dev by enabling #enable-improved-a2hs under chrome://flags.
