Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/55.0.2883.87 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Add a select in the page <select> <option value="11.0">11</option> <option value="12.0">12</option> <option value="13.0">13</option> </select> 2. Open the select drop down and input "11" by keyboard to select the first option What is the expected behavior? It can select the first option. What went wrong? It cannot select the first option. But if input "12" "13", it works. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 55.0.2883.87 Channel: stable OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 24.0 r0

Able to reproduce the issue on previous and current Chrome stable i.e., 55.0.2883.87 and 54.0.2840.99.

Tested on Windows 10 using chrome M55 #55.0.2883.87 and issue is reproduced. Issue is seen from M35 , hence it is a non-regression issue. Note : Issue is seen on Linux OS also. Thanks!

The current behavior is that typing a key repeatedly cycles through all options starting with the character. It's same as Firefox. Microsoft Edge looks to cycle only if we type slowly? We may follow this behavior.
