Issue description
I have chromium and the HTC vive and GTX 1060 and cannot get the vive to work. I get that error message :WebVR Supported but noVRDisplay"

Add OK or FAIL, along with the version, after other browsers where you
have tested this issue:

As of now what happens in chromium is that I can see the enter vr button on various site be when I click it. There is not display in the headset and no error message.

Mainline Chromium does not currently support desktop HMDs. WebVR HMD support on desktop is tracked in issue 644502 . It is expected that no displays will be returned, and applications need to handle this correctly. See https://github.com/googlevr/webvr-polyfill/issues/177.
