Issue descriptionM57 dev iOS10 iPhone7 prereq: Enable reader mode setting in app settings. - on the phone, go to https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/?utm_term=.f5d27844bb85 - click OK on reader mode infobar expected: - distilled page with article about the washington NFL team's terrible season. actual: - totally blank page with no content. Note that this URL only loads a specific article on mobile. On desktop the same url loads the general sports section page.

Thanks for reporting this bug. I tried Clank, and also mobile device emulation on linux, but that URL gave a general sports section page. That general page is not considered distillable, but if I force distilling it, it returned a leading picture. An MHTML archive of the original page is attached. Do I need to sign in or use a real iPhone to get a specific article on that URL?

You should try with a real iOS device or a real iOS simulator. It may be looking for something other than just the UA to determine what to serve.

I used an iOS simulator to open https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/, and it's still a general index page.
