My MP4 video is not playing in Chrome (it plays fine in Safari)

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_11_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/55.0.2883.95 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Go to https://www.wedgeforce.com/videos/web_title_4.mp4 2. Hit the play button What is the expected behavior? To play the MP4 video. What went wrong? Video is not played, it is resized quickly and then back to the black screen. Did this work before? N/A Does this work in other browsers? Yes Chrome version: 55.0.2883.95 Channel: stable OS Version: OS X 10.11.6 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 24.0 r0 I'm trying to use this video clip in my web site and it works in Safari but not in Chrome. Please help! Thanks, Antoan

This video is interlaced, which was not supported by Chrome in M55. As of M56, interlaced video is supported on all desktop platforms, possibly with reduced performance compared to non-interlaced. |
