Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Ubuntu Chromium/55.0.2883.87 Chrome/55.0.2883.87 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: Open many tabs, say 300 Find the one that is playing sound: not possible - The horizontal tab ui is reduced to 100 or so triangles - The sound icon has no place to be shown Find a tab by title: not possible What is the expected behavior? Sound-playing tab to be indicated, tabs to be easily navigated What went wrong? The ui is not designed for tabs that has less than 1" of horizontal space to display their state Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 55.0.2883.87 Channel: stable OS Version: Flash Version: The solve-some getaround is Tabs outliner extension

A great feature of Tabs Outliner is that window titles are searchable - this would require a separate ui window, not a menu

What Tabs Outliner cannot do is to select multiple windows so they can be closed at once, but you can close them directly in the list. Chromium does not have the multiple-close feature either.

@3: Chromium does have multi-close. Multi-select tabs with shift- and ctrl-clicking, then hit ctrl-w to close them all. Duping against the general bug on tab UI to handle huge numbers of tabs. Workaround: use tab multi-select and drag tabs into windows to organize by larger tasks, so each window has at most a few dozen tabs. |
